Create your own - Music Video

Have you ever wanted to make music videos like the ones seen on MTV? This half term using the unique combination of music and film facilities at the Sir John Moore Foundation, our popular Music Mash and Film and Animation workshops are joining forces in this exclusive course that will allow you to storyboard and direct your own music video to your favourite tracks or ones which you have composed with our music tutors.’ Aimed at teenagers, bands welcome – limited spaces. .

Rock Star Experience – Join Lewis, Rob and Ben for an action packed musical day. Drummers, guitarists and singers welcome.

For younger musicians who want to have a go at being in a band and recording music – this is the activity for you.

Music Production – Join Joel for a day of music creation - doesnt matter waht your age or ability is - you will be able to create your own music to take home on CD -

Filming and Animation – Special Effects Extravaganza-

Have you ever wanted to know how to produce special effects like those seen in Hollywood blockbusters? This will focus on creating effects both physically using everyday household materials you can find at home and digitally using the latest video editing software. From explosions, to holographic ghosts, green-screening and CGI this will be a day to remember!

Youth Wednesdays

Started in April 2008. These continue in 2011 with more activities for 8-12 years from 6-7.30pm on Wednesdays

12+ young people (Ie the Foundation Crew) can come along for the sessions too and help out - then stay on till 9pm to chill - and plan their own events and activities!!

Wednesdays - 6 – 7.30pm, £2.50 per session

Organised activities including live music, are available every week.

Other activities include, drama games, art, wi dance and sport, films, quizzes

A range of planned activities led by Foundation staff, young volunteers and youth leaders. Parental consent required.

Young film Makers (‘SJMF Productions’) ...

For the real enthusiasts – the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in all aspects of film making & animation.  With professional training & the opportunity to work on bigger film projects you can join our film crew sessions once a month on a Sunday.
