The Sir John Moore Foundation welcomes volunteers to help with the activities of the charity.

Whether you can spare half or a few hours a week you will be made welcome.

Opportunities exist for volunteers to assist with the running of the Heritage Centre by being front of house at the new interactive heritage reception area in the Stables, helping out at special/ community events, researching and creating exhibitions on village history or helping to look after our collection of original artefacts.

Or, you may prefer the cultural / arts performances where you can help practically with setting up and serving refreshments or in advance with ticketing and promotion.

We are also keen to find somebody who can record the events that we have and gather comments for an online review.

We provide opportunities for young people to volunteer in the Heritage Centre, at the youth club and at the events and activities. We can help young people put on their own events from the planning, through to execution and evaluation. We provide V50 accreditation for volunteering for 16-25 year olds through the national volunteering initiative - V involved

Training is provided as appropriate. CRB checks are done free of charge for all of our volunteers.
