Invitation to the funeral of Sir John Moore, 12th June 1702, from the Moore family archive.
An invitation to 'accompany the corps of Sir John Moore' from Mercers Hall to St Dunstan's church where he was buried. The ticket featured Momento Mori iconography of the period. The Church contained a monumental plaque to Sir John, featuring his coat of arms. The Church was largely destroyed in WWII.
