Map of East India Company trade routes

Map of the East India Company trade routes taken from 'The business links of a 17th C London lead merchant with companies engaged in the slave trade', Fred Steward, 2021.
By 1689 Moore was the 2nd largest holder of East India Company stock. He traded in diamonds and coral and supplied lead and ships to the company. Between 1669 and 1701 he served on all their committees. EIC trade was not in slaves, but some were bought and transported to staff trading posts. Moore was present at meetings when such decisions were made.
