Network map of the 162 RAC directors between 1672 & 1700.

Map of East India Company trade routes taken from 'The business links of a 17th C London lead merchant with companies engaged in the slave trade', Fred Steward, 2021.

In old age John Moore was involved with the Royal African Company; a small scale investor and director in years 1687-9 & 1700. This original network analysis provides a visual representation of the tenure and authority of directors in this period (high where the network is densest and most connected). His role was not central but did involve participation in decisions about slave trade journeys.
