School Building Accounts constructed by Rev George Wait, first head (Latin) master of Sir John Moore School from 1697 to 1725.

Rev George Wait (a university graduate as required) was first headmaster of the school. His duties included commissioning a balcony in the church for the school and the provision of a fully itemised set of accounts for the school build. Despite this, delays in establishing an endowment meant he was not paid until 2 years after appointment!
